​I've Long been committed to providing not just social, pretty babies, bred to standard, but kitties as healthy as possible. EVERY breeder should be testing, because things like PKD and HCM are real and in this breed and without testing, you just don't know if you have "healthy" cats or not and even with testing, there's no guarantees.  I'm sure I will see things pop up again on occassion, but I"m doing all I can to prevent this and all kittens go home with a 3 year health guarantee. There's no better feeling then knowing your little ones are healthy!

OHHH THIS GORGEOUS BOY BREAKS MY HEART.  hE IS EVERYTHING YOU WOULD WANT IN A sCOTTISH STRAIGHT (HE'S A pIP SON... SO NOT SURPRISING.) BIG EYES, GREAT BODY, ROUND ROUND ROUND.  sADLY HE IS A SPECIAL NEEDS BABY WITH A "WEAKENED" BACK END.  WE BELIEVE IT'S FROM A BITE FROM MOMMA (BAD JOB TRYING TO MOVE HIM) THAT WAS RIGHT OVER HIS SPINE AND VERY DEEP.  IT TOOK A BIT TO HEAL AND LEFT HIM WITH WEAKEND REAR END.  i'VE MOVED HIM TO PENS WHERE I CAN PUT RUBBER MATTING DOWN (AND HAVE SEEN IMPROVEMENTS, AS AT THE START HIS BACK LEGS WERE ALMOST COMPLETELY OUT TO THE SIDE AND NOW HE HAS THEM MOSTLY UNDER HIM, JUST NOT "CORRECTLY" MOVED ) AND HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE VET THAT SPINAL ISSUES CAN TAKE A LONG TIME TO HEAL SO THERE MAY CONTINUE TO BE IMPROVEMENTS, JUST NOT SURE.  aLL THAT BEING SAID... HE DOESN'T KNOW HE'S HANDICAPPED... HE WAS THE FIRST TO REACH THE TOP OF THE KITTEN TREE, CAN OUT RUN HIS BROTHERS, WRESTLES, PLAYS WITH TOYS... EVERYTHING A "NORMAL' KITTEN DOES... JUST WITH A GAIT LIKE A PENGUIN.  HE IS LOOKING FOR A SPECIAL HOME AND IS PRICED WITH A LOW FEE. HE WILL HAVE ALL VACCINES, AND BE ALTERED PRIOR TO LEAVING.
